Fullstack Software Engineer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer based in United Kingdom.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving product engineering team building a next-generation AI-powered sales platform used by high-growth companies worldwide. The role sits at the intersection of backend and frontend development, where you will help design and ship core product features that directly impact how modern sales teams operate. You will work on complex, data-heavy systems that combine scalability, performance, and usability in a single cohesive experience. Expect a high level of ownership, close collaboration with experienced engineers and founders, and a strong focus on rapid iteration and continuous product improvement. The environment is highly technical and product-driven, where engineers are trusted to make decisions and move fast. You will contribute to shaping a platform that processes large-scale data and powers intelligent, automated outreach workflows. This is a role for engineers who enjoy solving meaningful, real-world problems in a high-growth startup context.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain fullstack product features across backend and frontend systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and usability.
- Build and improve core components of a data-intensive SaaS platform, including systems handling large datasets, search, and real-time workflows.
- Translate product requirements into well-architected technical solutions, driving features from concept through to production.
- Work on backend services and APIs while also contributing to user-facing interfaces built in modern web frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with founders, product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to ship new features frequently.
- Identify and resolve production issues, optimize system performance, and proactively improve system reliability and maintainability.
- Participate in architectural decisions, system design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering best practices.
- Ensure code quality through testing, peer reviews, and thoughtful engineering practices focused on long-term maintainability.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working on complex, scalable systems.
- Strong experience building and maintaining web applications across both frontend and backend layers.
- Solid understanding of system design principles, including scalability, reliability, performance, and failure modes.
- Experience debugging production issues and a strong ability to identify root causes in complex systems.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and ability to independently drive improvements.
- Familiarity with working in fast-paced product environments with frequent releases and evolving requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially when handling edge cases and system behavior under load.
- Good understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, code quality, and maintainability.
- Bonus: Experience with modern web stacks (e.g., React, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis), though not required.
