Home Instead is looking for Full-Time caring, compassionate, and reliable individuals to join our growing team of Care Assistants across Shaftesbury, Gillingham, and surrounding areas.

At Home Instead, we are proud to provide outstanding person-centred care, built around our core values of compassion, dignity, respect, and relationship-led support, ensuring every client receives care tailored to their individual needs while remaining independent in the comfort of their own home.

Unlike many care providers, we don't believe in rushing care. Our minimum client visit is one hour, with our average visit lasting 80 minutes, giving you the time to build meaningful relationships and provide outstanding person-centred care.

Job Description

We are looking for Full-Time Domiciliary Care Assistants who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and companionship to older adults in their own homes in and around the Shaftesbury area.

Part-Time Positions

No experience is required. (If applying for a Part-Time Role) We have Part-Time roles open!

If you have a caring nature and a desire to make a difference, we'll provide all the paid training you need to become a successful Care Assistant.

As a Care Assistant, you will support clients with:

  • Companionship
  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication support
  • Light housekeeping
  • Helping clients remain independent in their own homes

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (required)
  • Own reliable vehicle (required)
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship (please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time)
  • For full-time positions, previous experience in domiciliary care, home care, or a similar care setting is required
  • Willingness to travel across Shaftesbury, Gillingham, and surrounding villages
  • A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature with a passion for supporting others
