Fully Remote Manager Network Engineer | Base £90k-£115k | 9% Bonus
We're partnering with a global technology organisation investing heavily in its next-generation infrastructure and cloud capabilities. As part of an exciting growth journey, they're looking for an experienced Manager of Network Engineering to lead the design, delivery and ongoing development of their enterprise network estate.
This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK while leading a talented, distributed engineering team.
This is a 50/50 player-coach role, combining hands-on technical engineering with team leadership. You'll spend around half your time driving technical initiatives and shaping network architecture, with the other half focused on mentoring engineers, leading projects and influencing the strategic direction of the function.

What you'll be doing:
- Lead and develop the Network Engineering team through technical leadership and mentoring.
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale network solutions across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments.
- Drive infrastructure modernisation and support the technology roadmap.
- Manage Cisco, Juniper and Palo Alto network infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, security and performance across the enterprise network.
What you'll need:
- Extensive experience in enterprise network engineering and architecture.
- Previous leadership or management experience within Network Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper and Palo Alto technologies.
- Experience with BGP, VXLAN, LAN/WAN
- Exposure to AWS, Azure and/or GCP environments.
- Scripting or automation experience with Python, Bash or PowerShell
