Our vision at Tennis Australia

Our vision at Tennis Australia is to create a playful world through tennis. We hold a unique responsibility in sport, hosting a Grand Slam every January, which is the most important event on Australia’s annual calendar and has the eyes of the world at that time; whilst simultaneously building on the heritage and culture that underpins grassroots tennis participation.

We are now looking for a Functional Area Manager to join our digital team on a full time, contract basis to work on the Australian Open.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for managing the process of contracting, co-ordinating and on-boarding all freelancers for the Tennis Australia (TA) Digital Team during the January Summer of Tennis. This role will contribute to the overall delivery of digital content in the form of team coordination, assisting the TA Lead and liaising with relevant Business Units to manage freelancer accreditation, rostering and payments, in addition to other unit administration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
