Functional Assessor Hybrid Role | Up to 3 Days Face-to-Face

Salary: £42,000.00 per annum

About the Role

Behind every assessment is a person who deserves to feel heard and understood.

At Advo Health, we support individuals during pivotal moments in their lives. As part of the Ascenti Group, we provide clinically led, high-quality assessment services to help people understand how their health impacts daily activities and independence.

Our mission is built on fairness, compassion, and clinical integrity. Every assessment you carry out ensures claimants feel listened to, treated with respect, and supported throughout their journey.

Are you a healthcare professional looking to move away from hands-on clinical pressures but still stay true to your purpose? This could be your next career chapter.

The Core Task

As a Functional Assessor, you’ll apply your clinical expertise in a structured, non-clinical setting. You’ll actively contribute to either:

  • PIP (Personal Independence Payment) assessments
  • WCA (Work Capability Assessment)

No prior experience in Functional Assessing is required. We provide full training, tailored to your existing healthcare background.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
