Functional Assessor

Hybrid role | Up to 3 days Face-to-Face / remainder Home based

Salary: £42,000.00 per annum

About the Role

Behind every assessment is a person who deserves to feel heard and understood.

At Advo Health, we support individuals at critical moments in their lives. As part of the Ascenti Group, we deliver clinically led, high-quality assessment services that help people understand how their health impacts their everyday activities and independence.

Our mission is rooted in fairness, compassion, and clinical integrity. Every assessment you complete enables claimants to feel listened to, treated with respect, and supported throughout their journey.

This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to move away from hands-on clinical pressures while staying purpose-driven.

Key Focus Areas

As a Functional Assessor, your clinical expertise will be applied in meaningful, non-clinical settings. You’ll contribute to assessments for either:

  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Work Capability Assessment (WCA)

No prior Functional Assessor experience is required—full training will be provided.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
