Functional / Process Consultant

# Functional / Process Consultant

About the Role

The Functional Consultant responsible for Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) translates complex business and control requirements into scalable processes. This role leads the design of the target state from a low-maturity, manual baseline, establishing structured access governance across the enterprise.

You will hold accountability across:

  • Requirements gathering
  • Workflow design
  • Certification campaigns
  • Operating model recommendations

Acting as the primary interface with key business stakeholders, you ensure a secure, compliant, and user-adopted IGA rollout.

Job Location & Availability: This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates based in Europe or Latin America (LATAM), with the ability to operate during standard European business hours.

Key Responsibilities

IGA Strategy & Process Design

  • Translate business and control requirements into workable, efficient IGA processes and workflows.
  • Design the target state architecture and processes, transitioning from a manual, ad-hoc baseline (e.g., email approvals, ticketing systems) into structured, automated governance.
  • Drive the replacement of legacy systems with a scalable, enterprise-ready governance framework.

Access Governance & Certification

  • Lead requisition workshops to design access request workflows and plan comprehensive access certification campaigns.
  • Define and enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) rulesets, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across critical business systems—such as SAP Finance, Procurement, and other high-value assets.
  • Align governance processes with regulatory and industry-best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
