Summary of the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Fund Administration Manager, to lead a specialist fund administration service for key client accounts. This is a niche, newly created role within our Specialist Finance Services function, responsible for overseeing complex and high-risk fund administration activities.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data and fund operations, while maintaining strong client relationships and driving continuous improvement, across processes and systems.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead and manage fund administration activities for assigned client(s)
- Ensure robust processes and controls are in place to meet regulatory and client requirements
- Oversee fund accounting, including valuation, unit pricing, and NAV accuracy
- Manage relationships with investment managers and external service providers
- Maintain high standards of client service and risk mitigation
- Drive improvements to investment administration processes and operating models
- Monitor industry developments and implement necessary changes
- Ensure data integrity within financial systems and general ledger
- Lead, develop and support a small team of specialist fund administration professionals
- Perform authorised signatory responsibilities where required

What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in investment administration, fund accounting, valuation and unit pricing
- In-depth knowledge of life & pensions regulations, taxation, and accounting standards
- Understanding of investment instruments, market protocols, and third-party operating models
- Experience leading and managing fund administration teams.
- Experience managing client relationships and external stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and produce MI
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
- Proven leadership and people management capability
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ACMA) or equivalent relevant experience
- Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or similar (desirable)
