Description

Fund Controller VP to ED

  • Location: Docklands Canary Wharf
  • Office Days: 5 days in office
  • Industry: Asset Management, Transportation investment - Alternatives - Banking & Financial Services

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee fund accounting and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage fund operations and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve financial statements, budgets, and reconciliations for assigned funds.
  • Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on fund performance and strategies - including Deal Making, address questions from investors, capital calls.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, trustees, and other external stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements:

  • A successful Fund Controller VP to ED should have:
    • Professional qualification from Big 4/Top 6 Practice - ACA.
    • Extensive knowledge of fund accounting and control principles and financial reporting standards.
    • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly within asset management - Transportation, Infrastructure Investment, Real Estate all work.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in financial systems and tools relevant to fund management.
    • Able to work in a sole contribution capacity.
