Fund Operations Analyst (London-based)
Our mission
Spiko: Making Cash Management Easy and Rewarding
Spiko is a Paris-based fintech, founded in 2023 by Paul-Adrien Hyppolite and Antoine Michon. We empower businesses of all sizes to access the best cash management products that are usually reserved for large corporations and institutional investors. Our products are available through a web app, via API, or through a growing network of distribution partners. Unlike banks, which tend to offer rigid products, our solutions are straightforward, transparent, and incredibly flexible.
Hundreds of companies trust us to collectively manage hundreds of millions of euros through our platform.
The Role: Fund Operations Analyst
As our first Fund Operations Analyst, you'll be hands-on running and building the operational backbone that moves several hundred million euros of client money every month - across multiple funds, multiple currencies, and a regulated entity.
This is a hybrid role: part production (executing daily operations end-to-end), part build (designing the systems, controls and automations that let those operations scale as Spiko grows across Europe).
Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with Product, Engineering, and our Legal & Compliance team, you'll sit at the intersection of fund operations, payment flows, financial infrastructure, regulatory reporting and customer experience. You'll have real autonomy and a direct hand in shaping how Spiko's operational backbone works as we expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Run daily middle office and payment operations
- Execute and monitor fund subscriptions and redemptions
- Manage banking flows: SWIFT, SEPA, multi-currency settlements
- Match incoming wires with client orders; identify and resolve mismatches and blocked operations
- Manage liquidity and ensure timely settlement across all flows
- Maintain reconciliation across funds, banks and entities
- Own fund operations and valuation support
- Run the operational cycle of Spiko's 5 funds, each with distinct technical specifics
- Contribute to NAV and share-value calculation alongside our external fund administration partners
- Monitor and coordinate the portion of fund operations delegated to external partners
- Identify, escalate and resolve operational anomalies in fund mechanics
- Contribute to financial infrastructure and new products
- Partner with Product and Engineering on infrastructure projects - instant withdrawals, segregation (cantonnement), creation of individual client accounts, routing across products
- Participate in the launch of new financial products end-to-end
- Work with our Legal & Compliance team on new agreements with banks, fund administrators and other partners
- Continuously automate and improve operational processes to scale without breaking
- Contribute to regulatory reporting and risk
- Participate in regulatory and risk reporting - including prudential reporting to ACPR
- Implement and improve first-line controls on client money flows
- Strengthen the auditability and robustness of operational processes
- Support clients on operational matters
- Track and accompany clients on subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and withdrawals
- Resolve operational issues affecting client money movements
- Act as a bridge between operations and our customer-facing teams

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
