WR Fundraising Recruitment has an exciting opportunity to join one of the region's most respected charities as a Fundraising Assistant.
Providing a range of support to the fundraising team, this is a role that offers so many new fundraising skills, from prospect research, to writing small grant applications and supporter stewardship.
We’re looking for someone who has an interest in working in fundraising, who perhaps doesn’t have the experience, but has the capability to work flexibly and get stuck in to a varied workload.

Telford with hybrid working (3 times a week in the office / 2 from home)
£26,000 – £27,500 per annum
Duties will include:
- Providing support to the fundraising team
- Researching opportunities for small fundraising applications and wider engagement
- Writing letters and applications to potential supporters
- Developing relationships with new and existing supporters
- Providing accurate admin support
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of or a passion to work in fundraising
- Experience of working in either a customer services / sales / fundraising / account management / education
- Experience of building successful relationships
- Ability to confidently communicate with the public, positively influence and persuade people to support your own ideas
- A professional and engaging writing style with a great attention to detail
