We're looking for a Philanthropy Manager to play a pivotal role in growing our major gifts programme. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with philanthropists, trusts, foundations who share our commitment to advancing education and research.

Description

This is more than a fundraising role. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Build relationships with donors who want to make a genuine difference.
  • Create compelling funding opportunities that change lives and support innovation.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and academics across the University.
  • Develop and grow a pipeline of high-value supporters.

Profile

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, relationship-focused and motivated by achieving meaningful outcomes.

You may already be working in major donor fundraising, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships or a similar relationship-led role.

You'll bring:

  • A track record of building and managing successful stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong influencing and networking skills.
  • The ability to identify opportunities and turn them into successful partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and proposal-writing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied portfolio.
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • Most importantly, you'll be passionate about connecting people with causes and opportunities that matter.
