Overview
An opportunity to join a highly regarded international funds practice advising at the forefront of the global private capital market.
The London team operates as part of an integrated, cross-border platform, working closely with colleagues internationally to support many of the most active and sophisticated private capital sponsors. The practice is known for its deep sponsor relationships and for acting on matters that are both technically complex and strategically significant.
The Role
Associates are embedded within lean deal teams and play a central role in major fundraises from an early stage. The work focuses on the formation and structuring of private equity, private credit and other closed-ended alternative investment vehicles, often involving multi-jurisdictional coordination and bespoke structuring issues.

The approach is collaborative and hands-on: associates work closely with senior lawyers and partners, take ownership of substantial workstreams, and are encouraged to engage directly with clients. Responsibility is calibrated to experience, with clear scope for more senior associates to operate as a trusted point of contact on transactions.
Key Requirements
- 1 to 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Funds experience gained at a leading City or international law firm
- Exposure to sponsor-side closed-ended funds (private equity, private credit or related strategies)
- Strong judgement, attention to detail and an interest in high-intensity, high-quality work
