We are working with a global private fund who are looking for a Legal Counsel to support the formation, structuring, and ongoing management of their private credit and real estate debt funds

Key responsibilities:

  • Advise on fund formation, structuring, and lifecycle management.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate fund documentation, including LPAs, subscription agreements, management agreements, side letters, and related financing documents.
  • Support fund launches, product development, and regulatory compliance (AIFMD, MiFID).
  • Provide legal support on fund operations, investor matters, and financing arrangements.
  • Partner closely with Product, Investments, Compliance, Risk, Tax, Operations, and external counsel.

About you:

  • 2–5 years' PQE gained in a leading law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Experience with private fund formation, ideally in private credit, but private equity background is workable.
  • Strong knowledge of fund documentation and UK/EU regulatory frameworks.
  • Commercial, pragmatic approach with excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills.
