Fund Tax & Investor Reporting Manager
A leading global investment management firm is seeking a Fund Tax & Investor Reporting Manager to join its in-house tax team.
This is a high-profile role responsible for overseeing tax compliance, investor tax reporting and tax governance across a range of investment funds and products. Reporting to the Tax Director, the successful candidate will manage one direct report and work closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, external advisors and auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fund tax compliance and investor tax reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage tax reporting obligations for both existing and newly launched investment products.
- Maintain and enhance tax risk management frameworks, policies and governance processes.
- Coordinate reporting and compliance requirements relating to FATCA, CRS, Country-by-Country Reporting and economic substance regulations.
- Monitor international tax developments and assess their impact on investment structures and products.
- Provide practical tax support and guidance on investment-related matters.
- Review investment structures, co-investment arrangements and related documentation from a tax perspective.
- Respond to investor tax queries and review investor side letter provisions.
- Manage relationships with external advisors, service providers and auditors.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Operations and the wider business to deliver effective tax solutions.

Candidate Profile
- Professional tax qualification, ideally with a US tax focus (e.g. CPA, Master's/LLM in Taxation or equivalent).
- Significant experience within investment funds taxation, gained in a Big Four or equivalent professional services environment and/or an in-house asset management or investment management business.
- Strong understanding of investor tax reporting requirements and fund tax compliance.
- Experience overseeing outsourced compliance providers and managing complex multi-jurisdictional reporting obligations.
- Knowledge of FATCA and CRS requirements.
- Previous people management or mentoring experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to communicate complex tax matters to non-tax stakeholders.
