Job Title: Funds Transfer Pricing Specialist

About the Role
Treasury is responsible for sourcing, management, and optimisation of the Bank’s financial resources. Treasury operates across the globe with major hubs in Frankfurt, London, Singapore, and New York. The Treasury Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) function plays a key role in enabling Treasury to price and commercially steer the firm’s financial resources in all environments following a risk-based approach. FTP is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective Funds Transfer Pricing framework globally. The Framework’s key goal is to fairly price and remunerate businesses for providing financial resources and to allocate firm’s funding costs to its drivers, supported with additional tools such as Marginal Shareholder Value Added analysis.
In addition to FTP, the team is also responsible for delivering all aspects of the Sustainable Instruments Framework, including risk management and incentivising asset generation. It plays a key role in supporting the execution of the firm’s overall ESG Strategy, working in partnership with ESG business heads, Chief Sustainability Office, and ESG CFO. Opportunities within FTP team include exposure to most of the Bank’s businesses and products enabling steep learning curve, close cooperation with both Front Office and Finance, exposure to senior business and Treasury management and ability to influence firm’s strategy. You will join the team supporting continuous optimisation of various aspects of firm’s FTP framework.

Your key responsibilities
- Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of FTP methodology, applying established principles and frameworks to deliver robust, commercially relevant outcomes.
- In addition, perform analysis, MI production, and impact assessments to monitor FTP methodology performance, identify trends, and support recommendations for change
- Contribute to the delivery of FTP initiatives, including methodology changes, balance sheet steering priorities, business strategy objectives, and regulatory or governance requirements
- Work with Strats and Technology teams to support the design, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of FTP technology solutions and related processes
- Engage with stakeholders across Business, Risk, Finance, Treasury, Strats, and Technology to gather inputs, explain outcomes, resolve issues, and support delivery against agreed objectives
- Prepare materials for governance forums, management discussions, and stakeholder updates, ensuring outputs are clear, accurate, and aligned with agreed methodologies
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, or control gaps in a timely manner, while supporting remediation actions relating to audit findings, regulatory commitments, and self-identified issues.
- You will also contribute to wider Treasury initiatives, including balance sheet optimisation, FTP simplification, and sustainability-related frameworks
Your skills and experience
- Experience in Banking, Treasury, Finance, Risk, or a related analytical function
- Understanding of financial products or Treasury concepts would be beneficial
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; coding or data analytics experience is an advantage
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
