Salary: £32,200 to £34,900 per annum Location: Richmond – John Blenkiron & Sons Funeral Directors Type: Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 16:30

The Opportunity
The Funeral Manager plays a critical role in delivering unparalleled client service. Your key responsibilities include:
Core Responsibilities
- Leading and motivating your team to ensure smooth, high-standard funeral preparations and executions
- Overseeing resource scheduling and operational efficiency to meet client demands
- Ensuring funeral outcomes are tailored to the highest standards while achieving and exceeding client service targets
- Advancing the business through innovative ideas and market expansion strategies, including growth in market share
- Proactively representing Funeral Partners in local communities
- Managing financial targets, budgets, and reporting

We’re seeking a combination of sensitivity, leadership and commercial insight in our Funeral Manager.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in people management, preferably within the funeral sector
- Strong customer service orientation and handling of emotionally challenging situations
- Commercial acumen to drive business growth (e.g., budgeting, performance metrics)
- Experience in operational leadership or funeral service coordination
