The Opportunity
Sim & Son Funeral Directors in Glasgow are seeking a casual Funeral Service Operative to support families during a difficult time.
The role involves varied hours, allowing flexibility around other commitments. The primary responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
- First Point of Contact – Offering reassurance and professional support to families during their time of loss.
- Mortuary & Preparation Work – Assisting with the dignified preparation of the deceased, including coffin fitting and dressing.
- Active Funeral Support – Participating in funeral services, pallbearing, and general logistics to ensure a smooth process.
- Driving Responsibilities – Operating company vehicles (requires a full driving license).
- On-Call & Emergency Coverage – Including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with the opportunity for additional payments.
