Hours: Rota Shift - 3 days on 3 days off - 6 weeks day, 6 weeks nights
Duration: Permanent
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the role:
- Manufacture carbon brake discs through multiple stages of the production process, from carbon fibre cloth preparation through to heat-treated products
- Operate and monitor high-temperature furnaces using DeltaV SCADA systems, ensuring process conditions are maintained safely and effectively
- Carry out loading and unloading of furnaces, carousels, jigs and infiltration stacks in line with production requirements
- Support carbon cloth manufacturing activities, including operating production equipment and assisting with lay-up processes
- Assemble and disassemble jigs, infiltration stacks and associated tooling while maintaining accurate product identification records
- Weigh components, record production data using SAP and complete all required manufacturing documentation
- Build carbon components and support additional production activities to meet operational and customer requirements

Qualifications
Skills required:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment
- Ability to follow detailed processes, work instructions and quality requirements
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-based environment
- Comfortable working with computer-based systems and production monitoring software
- Ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems and work independently when required
- Experience of furnace operations, composites, aerospace manufacturing or carbon fibre processes would be advantageous
