Location: Huntingdon (Beautiful 14,000 sq. ft. Showroom)

Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 (DOE) + End of Year Bonus

Are you passionate about beautiful interiors, furniture sales, and creating engaging digital content? Elphicks of Huntingdon is an award-winning, independent furniture and interiors retailer. Proudly family run for over 123 years, we combine a rich heritage with a forward-thinking approach to retail. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and experienced Sales & Social Media Executive to join our friendly, supportive team.

The Role:

This is a beautifully varied and creative position split between the showroom floor and our digital channels. You will:

  • Inspire Customers: Meet, greet, and guide customers to help them select the perfect furniture, beds and interiors for their homes.
  • Drive Social Media: Take ownership of our channels, collaborating with the team to film vibrant reels, create engaging stories, and bring our brand to life online.
  • Create Campaigns: Design visually appealing email marketing campaigns that bring digital followers into our physical showroom.
  • Style the Showroom: Support the team with visual merchandising and maintaining a flawless, inspiring showroom presentation.
  • Take Ownership of Your Daily Operations: Handle daily administrative essentials, including updating new products on our website, processing order acknowledgements, and managing store pricing.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven Retail Experience: A strong track record in retail sales, with a natural ability to deliver world-class customer service.
  • Social Media Savvy: High confidence in creating, filming, and posting modern content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • People Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build instant rapport with customers.
  • Strong Admin Skills: Solid numerical skills, tech literacy, and proficiency in Excel and IT systems.
  • A Proactive Mindset: A positive attitude, excellent time management, and a sharp eye for detail.

Working Hours:

09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday with a minimum of two Saturdays per month (a dedicated weekday off in lieu)
