Furniture Technician
Furniture Technician (Upholsterer/Upholstery) Role
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: £33,600 (estimated annual earnings: approx £37,500 – £41,370+)
- Weekend Overtime: £220 per day (1 in 3 Saturdays or Sundays required, additional weekends available at the same rate of £220 per day)
- Bonus: Performance-related pay up to £300 per month

My client is a leading furniture restoration brand, expanding rapidly across the UK, Scotland & Ireland, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of their growth. This role suits an experienced Furniture Technician, Upholsterer, Furniture Repair Specialist, Upholstery Specialist, or Furniture Restorer with expertise in modern domestic furniture production and restoration.

Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
- Inspect and repair upholstery and furniture in customer’s homes as needed
- Generate written reports for both the company and clients
- Manage customer expectations, offering product maintenance advice
- Deliver excellent customer service with a high regard for user rapport

Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Significant workplace experience in domestic Upholstery/Furniture Repair/Restoration
- Proficiency in modern furniture production and restoration techniques
- Strong organisational skills, ability to work proactively and systematically
- Excellent communication, both written and spoken
- Must thrive in pressure-driven environments and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
