Furniture Technician
Furniture Technician Aylesbury / Reading / M3 Corridor
Up to £45,000
- £31,000 basic salary
- £100 per month attendance bonus
- £2,300 annual bonus
Total earning package up to £45,000
Company vehicle + fuel card provided
Upholstery and furniture experience essential!
This is a field-based role covering the Aylesbury, Reading and M3 corridor territory. You will be visiting residential and commercial customers across your area, carrying out professional repairs and restoration work on upholstered and soft furnishing items. The company is a nice, established furniture restoration experts with an excellent reputation and a strong support network behind their field team.
No two days are the same in this role. You will be working independently, managing your own diary and delivering a high standard of craftsmanship directly in the customers home or premises. You will be the face of the business in your area, so a professional approach and strong communication skills matter just as much as your technical ability.

Furniture Technician Role
- Visiting customers across Aylesbury, Reading and the M3 corridor to assess and repair upholstered furniture and soft furnishings.
- Carrying out fabric repairs, leather repairs, colour matching, frame work and structural repairs to a professional finish.
- Working to clear daily schedules arranged by the support team.
- Representing the company professionally in customer homes and commercial premises.
- Completing job reports and maintaining accurate records using a company-provided device.
- Managing your vehicle and equipment to a high standard.
What they are looking for:
- Some background in upholstery, furniture, fabric repair or a related trade is ideal, but the company are happy to invest in the right person if you have good hands, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- A professional, customer-focused approach.
- Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- You must be comfortable with an early start and covering your territory on a daily basis.
