Furniture Technician
Furniture Technician (Upholsterer/Upholstery) – Join a Leading Furniture Restoration Brand
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: £33,600 (estimated annual earnings: £37,500 – £41,370+)
- Weekend Working: £220 per day (expected 1 in 3 weekends, additional payments at higher overtime rates)
- Monthly Bonus: Up to £200 (performance-related pay)
- Other Benefits:
- Company work vehicle, free fuel card, tools, materials & restoration kits (e.g., leather, wood)
- 23 days holiday (increases by 1 day per year post-2 years, maxing at 28 days)

Responsibilities
The Furniture Technician/Upholstery Technician/Furniture Repair Specialist will:
- Inspect and repair upholstery and furniture in customers’ homes
- Provide written reports for the company and clients
- Manage customer expectations and offer product maintenance advice
- Deliver excellent customer service and rapport
Experience & Skills Required
We are looking for an experienced professional with:
- Significant expertise in modern domestic furniture production, repair, and/or restoration techniques
- Relevant work experience in furniture upholstery/restoration
- Strong organisational skills, being proactive and methodical
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
