Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer outcomes, solving complex challenges, and driving innovative solutions? We're looking for a Further Work Resolution Technician to act as the vital link between works promoters and our Alliance Partners, ensuring all further works are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

As a direct representative of United Utilities, you'll be the trusted point of contact for customer-impacting activities, taking ownership of issues on site and ensuring resolutions are delivered quickly and effectively. You'll play a key role in protecting network integrity, championing innovative working methods, and reducing disruption for our customers through the use of trenchless technology and other modern solutions.

Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll help streamline decision-making, maximise operational performance, and ensure our customer commitments are consistently achieved.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing technical guidance and support to United Utilities and Alliance Partner field teams.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal colleagues, local authorities, contractors, supervisors, project managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and reviewing key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving performance enhancements.
  • Acting as a custodian of the wastewater network, ensuring works are completed to the required standards to protect long-term asset integrity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
