Support individuals in Carmarthenshire to discuss and record their end of life wishes Are you a compassionate listener and confident communicator? We’re looking for empathetic individuals to join our volunteer team to support people as they talk about their end-of-life wishes and what matters most to them. Availability: 3 hours per week Time: Flexible to suit your schedule Location: Primarily community based within surrounding areas of Carmarthenshire Criteria: Minimum 18 years of age What you’ll be doing: Visiting individuals to help them reflect on and share their end-of-life preferences Recording their wishes accurately using provided tools Supporting awareness and outreach events across the community Collaborating with other organisations and helping to co-facilitate volunteer training sessions Why you'd be a great fit: Emotionally aware and empathetic Strong communicator Respectful and comfortable talking to people from all walks of life Confident using email and Microsoft Word Reliable, with a clear understanding of confidentiality Open to safeguarding training and guidance What you’ll gain: Flexibility to volunteer around your schedule Full training, ongoing guidance and wellbeing support The rewarding feeling of making a real difference Recognition for your time and support Updates on the difference you’re making Long Service Awards Perks: Travel and expenses reimbursed Access to discounts on shopping, dining, travel and more Ready to Make a Difference?
