Are you a Supervisor or Trainee Manager ready to take the next step, but want the skills, confidence and experience to succeed when the opportunity comes?
The Future Retail Leaders Development Programme is a 6-month development journey designed to prepare you for your first Store Manager role. It is a hands-on, immersive experience that will build the capability, confidence and commercial thinking needed to lead a store.
What to expect Over 6 months, you’ll take part in a programme focused on real retail leadership: Shop floor leadership - build confidence leading teams and delivering exceptional customer experience Business management - develop your understanding of orders, forecasting, and commercial drivers People leadership - strengthen your coaching, communication and team development skills Mentorship - receive ongoing support from UK&I Retailers In-person experiences - including shop visits and collaborative learning sessions Interview preparation - develop the skills to confidently step into Manager interviews You’ll also complete a final sign-off, including a mock interview, to ensure you’re truly ready to step up.

What happens next? Completion of the programme doesn’t guarantee a Store Manager role, you’ll still need to interview when opportunities arise. But you’ll be doing so with the skills, experience and confidence to stand out. This opportunity is for Supervisors and Trainees who work 32+ hours per week and have at least one year of experience, who: Is excited about becoming a Store Manager Is willing to relocate or commute for the right opportunity Want to invest in their development and step outside their comfort zone Is ready to be challenged, coached and supported over 6 months
