As an Associate within the FX Services Execution team, you will be responsible for the execution and risk management of FX-based products, including Emerging Markets Spot, Frontier Market Spot, NDFs, and Fully Convertible Swaps, supporting a broad range of investor clients. You will operate as a subject matter expert on restricted markets, bringing insight into liquidity trends, regional regulations, and evolving market conditions. Working on a fixed shift (1pm–10pm London time), you will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Technology, and Operations teams to continuously deliver best-in-class client solutions. This role sits at the heart of a London-centric global operation covering 21 hours of the day, giving you unparalleled exposure to international FX markets and cross-business client activity.
Job responsibilities
- Execute and manage risk across FX-based products including Emerging Markets Spot, Frontier Market Spot, NDFs, and Fully Convertible Swaps for investor clients.
- Monitor and oversee automated deliverable currency execution and associated risk.
- Engage directly with J.P. Morgan's investor client base to deliver high-quality FX execution services.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on restricted markets, including liquidity trends, regional regulations, and changing market conditions.
- Leverage internal proprietary trading data alongside public market data to demonstrate execution quality and identify potential improvements.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency across execution, product development, desk controls, and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior team members, FX Services Sales and Product, Network Management, local liquidity providers, Technology, and Operations to develop and deliver best-in-class client service and solutions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Significant experience working in FX Trading or FX Sales.
- Strong knowledge of and interest in macroeconomics, market drivers, and FX markets.
- Demonstrable proficiency with market and product terminology.
- Excellent numeracy skills with a technically minded approach to problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail under pressure with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Confident communicator, able to engage clearly and articulately with clients and management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- FCA registered/approved person status.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience and exposure to Emerging Markets and NDFs.
- Exposure to trading venues including Bloomberg, FX Connect, FXall, and 360T.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and VBA.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools including Tableau, Alteryx, and Python.
- Experience managing and developing client relationships in an FX context.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
