FX - Software Engineer - VP
Software Engineer Hiring
Join us as a Software Engineer where you will design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Purpose of the Role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising multiple engineering methodologies, that enhances business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Expected Success in This Role
You should demonstrate:
- Building UI’s with React
- Understanding of FX Trading data
- Excellent communication skills across different teams
Highly Valued Skills
Other key strengths include:
- Experience working with FX Data and Analytics frameworks
- Familiarity with Cloud and container-based environments
- CI/CD pipeline optimisation and fully automated testing
Candidates will be assessed on:
- Technical skills (risk & controls, communication, stakeholder engagement)
- Job-specific expertise relevant to the role
Location
This role is based out of our London office.
Accountabilities for Software Engineers
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimised for performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers:
- Define software requirements.
- Devise solution strategies.
- Align with business objectives.
- Peer collaboration and culture of quality:
- Participate in code reviews.
- Promote knowledge sharing.
- Drive technical growth:
- Stay updated on industry trends.
- Contribute to technology communities.
- Secure coding practices:
- Mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Protect sensitive data.
- Unit testing and rigor:
- Implement robust testing practices.
- Ensure code is well-designed and reliable.
