About The Role
The Lead Game Developer role at 17918 offers an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership position within a vibrant game studio environment. Based in Sunderland with a hybrid working model, this permanent position is ideal for a seasoned developer eager to combine technical expertise with team management. Qualifications

Responsibilities
As a Lead Game Developer at 17918, your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring a small team of developers to deliver engaging gaming features.
- Overseeing day-to-day management of the squad, including planning, task allocation, and tracking progress.
- Managing holidays and absences to ensure continuous project flow.

- Conducting effective one-on-one meetings, providing constructive feedback during code reviews, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
