Game Developer - Cocos2d-x | $120/hr Remote
Cocos2d-x Junior Game Developer
Position: Contract
Type: Contract Compensation: $50–$120/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and refine game logic, mechanics, and features using Cocos2d-x for both prototype and production-level projects
- Collaborate closely with the customer's team to provide high-quality real-world input for AI training processes
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot game assets and scenes to support a diverse set of training objectives
- Test, debug, and optimize Cocos2d-x code to ensure robust and efficient gameplay experiences
- Document code and processes thoroughly for clarity among both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain open, clear written and verbal communication to report on project status and challenges

Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Cocos2d-x with hands-on experience in 2D game development workflows
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills within a game development context
