Venesky-Brown are looking for an experienced Ganger to work with a contractor delivering works on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk.
This role requires someone with a strong civils background, particularly across highways, earthworks and drainage, who is confident leading a small gang, setting daily tasks and supporting the Foreman with the safe and efficient delivery of works on site.
Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk
Rate: £23.09 per hour PAYE
Overtime: £30.71 per hour PAYE after 10 hours per day
Saturday: £34.64 per hour PAYE
Duties will include:
- Leading and supervising a small gang on site
- Supporting daily works across highways, earthworks and drainage
- Setting operatives to work and monitoring progress
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to specification
- Working closely with the Foreman and site team
- Ensuring RAMS and site procedures are followed
- Helping coordinate labour, plant and materials
- Reporting any issues, delays or safety concerns
- Maintaining good housekeeping and safety standards on site

Essential requirements:
- Previous Ganger experience on civil engineering projects
- Strong highways, earthworks and drainage background
- Experience leading civils gangs on site
- SSSTS preferred
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Ability to lead from the front and keep works moving
- Strong communication skills
