This is a multi role vacancy and we are currently recruiting for the following locations; Wembley, Covent Garden & White City


Our in-store Assistant Visual Manager at GAP will take a passionate, innovative lead in delivering exceptional brand strategies across our store. As a key part of the team, you’ll use your styling expertise, creativity, and leadership to transform the customer experience, bringing the GAP brand to life through standout visual displays and compelling storytelling.


In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with business partners, store managers, and regional visual teams to execute brand guidelines, enhance commercial performance, and upskill the wider team in visual excellence.


To be a successful Assistant Visual Manager at GAP:

  • Lead and deliver high visual standards across all product areas (Menswear, Womenswear, Kids and Baby)
  • Use expert styling skills to create inspiring product displays and impactful mannequin presentation
  • Coach and develop the team in visual principles, layout execution, and presentation techniques
  • Plan floor layouts and product flows using store KPIs and sales data
  • Collaborate with leadership to align visual priorities with business goals
  • React quickly to sales trends, seasonal changes, and competition with effective visual solutions
  • Influence store and regional leadership on visual strategy, styling decisions, and brand execution
  • Ensure the store is visually commercial, operationally efficient, and customer-focused
  • Use visual merchandising to support stock flow, new products, and promotional activities

About you:

  • Strong experience in visual merchandising at a senior or assistant manager level
  • Excellent creative styling, layout interpretation, and mannequin presentation skills
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance visual impact and sales performance
  • The confidence to coach, influence, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to read and act on store sales reports and KPIs to inform visual decisions
  • A hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Exceptional communication skills and passion for team development
  • Flexibility to adapt to business needs, including managing shift priorities and deadlines
