About the Role
A successful garage door installation company seeks a dedicated garage door installer to install garage doors and associated products for residential properties in the Essex area. While an experienced garage door fitter is ideal, we welcome applicants with the right practical skills and background—training will be provided.
Reporting to the Branch Manager and collaborating with our team of fitters, this role involves directly installing garage doors and associated products—primarily in residential settings. It is a challenging yet rewarding customer-facing position with a combination of hands-on work and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and repair of garage doors and associated products
- Performing heavy lifting as part of daily duties
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to manufacturing specifications

Essential Skills & Competencies
- Strong practical and manual skills
- Valid clean driving license (a maximum of 3 points is acceptable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with customers
- Must be friendly, professional, and presentable
- Experience handling hand and power tools
Desirable Qualifications
- Prior experience within the garage door or construction industry

- Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 AM
