Garage Support Technician - Dundee

Garage Support Technician – Electric Bus Maintenance

Location: Dundee (with operational-facing connection to Aberdeen, Livingston, and Inverness)

About the Role

Ember is the UK’s first all-electric coach company, operating across 15 routes—including Dundee to Glasgow, Inverness to Edinburgh, and Edinburgh to Fort William—with further expansions planned for 2026. We are also pioneering new charging hubs in Livingston and Glasgow to support our state-of-the-art, zero-emission fleet.

We’re seeking a reliable, hands-on Garage Support Technician to join our specialist electric bus maintenance team. This is an ever-growing, innovative challenge suited to practical-minded problem-solvers with an enthusiasm for electric vehicle (EV) technology. You won’t need to be a fully qualified mechanic, but you’ll collaborate closely with experts while contributing to ultra-efficient fleet maintenance—ensuring our buses, operated more intensively than any other EVs in the world, stay on the road with minimal downtime.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
