Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location

Egham, TW20 0AG

Salary & Contract

  • Salary: Above Real Living Wage
  • Contract Type: Flexible with consistent full-time availability
  • Typical Hours: Saturday and Sunday (5 hours per day)

We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Gardener to support the delivery of high-quality grounds services at a prestigious hotel in Egham. If you take pride in your work, prioritise health and safety, and want to be part of a professional, well-managed team, we want to hear from you!


What You’ll Do

  • Carry out routine and specialist grounds maintenance tasks, including:
    • Grass cutting
    • Strimming
    • Hedge trimming
    • Spraying
    • Pruning
    • Litter picking
  • Operate a range of equipment and machinery safely and effectively
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and PPE to a high standard, reporting any defects
  • Record completed work using mobile technology (training provided)
  • Collaborate with your team to meet quality and performance targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar grounds maintenance role
  • A strong understanding of health & safety procedures and safe equipment operation
  • Full UK driving license (preferred)
  • Spraying qualifications (PA1 & PA6) and/or horticultural certification (desirable)
  • A proactive, professional attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
