Location: Richmond Village Willaston, 261 Crewe Road, CW5 6GX
Salary range: £12.90 per hour
Contract: Permanent – 30hrs
Shift Pattern: 0830–1430

We’re currently seeking a Gardener to maintain a large site of mature gardens, including wildflower meadow areas within our village.
About the Role

Skills and experience required:
You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Maintaining gardens, including grass-cutting, shrub bed maintenance, weed control, litter-picking, leaf clearance, and watering plants
- Gardening planning and scheduling
- Keeping the grounds tidy by ensuring drainage ditches and culverts are cleaned as needed
- Providing a first-class horticultural environment for our residents
- Liaising with contractors and advising the management team on potential gardening issues
- Supporting maintenance operatives with repairs (e.g., fixing fences, painting outbuildings).

Key Skills & Qualifications
Friendly, approachable, and passionate about gardening with:
- A keen eye for detail
- Possible NVQ in Horticulture
- Experience in general gardening or grounds maintenance
- Safe handling of chemicals (COSSH compliance)
- Ability to work adaptably, organised, and in a team
Due to the nature of caring for vulnerable people, a DBS check is required. We’ll cover the £40 cost as part of recruitment.
