Gardener

Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Egham, TW20 0AG Salary: Above Real Living Wage Contract Type: Flexible with consistent full-time availability Typical Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 5 hours a day


About the Role

Join a team where your experience matters. We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Gardener to support the delivery of high-quality grounds services at a prestigious hotel in Egham. Responsibilities

  • Carrying out routine and specialist grounds maintenance tasks, including:
    • Grass cutting
    • Strimming
    • Hedge trimming
    • Spraying
    • Pruning
    • Litter picking
  • Operating a range of equipment and machinery safely and effectively
  • Maintaining tools, vehicles, and PPE to a high standard, including reporting defects
  • Recording completed work using mobile technology (training provided)
  • Working collaboratively with your team to meet quality and performance targets

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar grounds maintenance role
  • A strong understanding of health & safety procedures and safe equipment use
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Spraying qualifications (PA1 & PA6) and/or horticultural certification (desirable)
  • A proactive, professional attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
