Gardener
Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Egham, TW20 0AG Salary: Above Real Living Wage Contract Type: Flexible with consistent full-time availability Typical Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 5 hours a day
About the Role
Join a team where your experience matters. We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Gardener to support the delivery of high-quality grounds services at a prestigious hotel in Egham. Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine and specialist grounds maintenance tasks, including:
- Grass cutting
- Strimming
- Hedge trimming
- Spraying
- Pruning
- Litter picking
- Operating a range of equipment and machinery safely and effectively
- Maintaining tools, vehicles, and PPE to a high standard, including reporting defects
- Recording completed work using mobile technology (training provided)
- Working collaboratively with your team to meet quality and performance targets

Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar grounds maintenance role
- A strong understanding of health & safety procedures and safe equipment use
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Spraying qualifications (PA1 & PA6) and/or horticultural certification (desirable)
- A proactive, professional attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
