Job Title: Gas Engineer

Location: West London

Salary: GBP40,000 : GBP50,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time


Established in 2011, Richmond Park Plumbers has been providing trusted plumbing and heating services across West London for over 15 years. We are a family:run business with extensive industry experience and a strong reputation for reliable, professional service. Our customers trust us because we take pride in doing the job properly.

We're currently looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our friendly, well:established team in West London on a full:time basis, with an immediate start available.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong experience in reactive heating and plumbing maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience.

We pride ourselves on running an organised, supportive, and friendly working environment, covering mainly West London and Surrey.

About The Role

The main focus of this role will be carrying out landlord gas safety inspections and boiler servicing. The role will also include reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on heating systems, boilers, HIU units, hot water cylinders, and general plumbing systems.

This is a day:shift role only with the ideal candidate based in or around West London.

We work exclusively in private residential properties, with no site work or council work required.

Key Duties

  • Carry out gas safety inspections and boiler servicing in line with legal and safety requirements for private landlords
  • Provide clear electronic reports to the office, detailing completed work and any recommended follow:up works
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing, repairs, and gas safety certificates issued
  • Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on boilers, heating systems, and plumbing systems

About You

  • Strong competence with flue gas analysers, boiler fault finding, and heating system diagnostics
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a polite, professional, and friendly approach
  • Own hand tools required; some larger tools can be provided
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Must be able to pass a DBS background check
  • Valid ACS domestic gas qualifications
