Qualified Gas Engineer – Supported Housing Focus

About the Role
As part of our trusted team, you’ll be a Gas Engineer (ACS Gas Qualified & Gas Safe) working across domestic properties, including occupied homes, void properties, and areas with vulnerable customers. This is a local-focused role with consistent, full-time opportunities, using our company van for daily operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Gas servicing, maintenance, and installation across domestic properties, adhering to gas safety regulations and health & safety guidelines.
- On-call roster for urgent tasks where required.
- Van management to optimise first-time fix rates.
- Collaborating with teams to meet service goals and maintain customer service excellence.
- Comprehensive record-keeping of work carried out and compliance documentation.
A Typical Day
- Working to a structured schedule, completing servicing, maintenance, and installations.
- Travelling between assignments in your allocated company van.
- Operating independently or as part of a team of tradespeople.
- Customer-facing interactions, ensuring a positive impact in local communities.
- Focus on efficiency and compliance with all safety standards.

Where You’ll Work at This Location

You’ll work across:
- Occupied homes (including vulnerable households)
- Void (unoccupied) properties
- A diversity of domestic properties within your designated area
Essential Criteria (Required for Shortlisting)
✅ ACS gas qualifications with active Gas Safe registration ✅ Proven experience as a Gas Engineer, preferably within social housing or domestic environments ✅ Full UK driving licence ✅ Must be based within the PE postcode area
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience setting and meeting service KPIs
- Strong fault-finding or diagnostic skills
