Job Overview

From £31,203.66 + standby | Full-Time | Permanent

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Gas Engineer to join our growing team, covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work, enjoy helping customers, and want the security of steady work with excellent benefits, this could be the role for you.

You'll be carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on gas appliances across social housing and private properties, ensuring homes remain safe, warm and compliant. This is a hands-on role where you'll work independently while being supported by an experienced office team who have your back.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Servicing and repairing gas appliances
  • Diagnosing central heating faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently
  • Completing planned maintenance work to a high standard
  • Building strong, professional relationships with tenants, clients and colleagues
  • Completing all job paperwork accurately and on time
  • Participating in standby cover (on average once per week)
  • Following all Gas Safe regulations, company procedures and Health & Safety standards
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service at every visit
