Gas Engineer - Service & Repair

We're open to applications from experienced Gas Engineers in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen.
Successful applicants outside Aberdeen will be expected to:
- Travel on the Monday morning
- Stay overnight for the week
- Return home on Friday afternoon
Hotels for the week will be provided.
Role Overview
Maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties ensuring that the heating and hot water systems:
- Operate efficiently and safely
- Repairs are completed timely
- Customer satisfaction is prioritised
The ideal candidate will be:

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region
- Provide high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards
- Communication updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually
- Ensure all Health and **Safety requirements and legislation (Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, COSHH Records) are adhered to daily
- Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure parts are available for job requirements

Skills & Experience
- Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications (minimum: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential))
- Valid UK driving license (essential)
- Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
- Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Professional and friendly attitude, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and tenants
