LOCATION: Belfast
SHIFT PATTERN: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week
SALARY: Competitive
Purpose: To ensure the safe, compliant and efficient operation of gas-fired plant, plumbing systems and associated mechanical building services across the contract portfolio. The role holder will support ABM in meeting customer requirements through the delivery of planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance activities in accordance with SFG20 maintenance standards, manufacturer recommendations, contractual obligations and relevant legislation. The post holder will proactively drive quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement whilst maintaining excellence in service delivery at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Service Provision
Complete all assigned planned preventative maintenance activities in accordance with SFG20 maintenance schedules Complete all mandatory SFG20 tasks relating to commercial gas systems, gas pipework, plumbing systems and associated mechanical assets Undertake statutory inspections and testing of gas-fired equipment and associated systems Carry out gas tightness testing, leak detection and combustion analysis Raise remedial works where defects are identified and ensure safety-critical defects are escalated immediately Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with manufacturer instructions, Gas Safe requirements and ABM procedures Accurately record all maintenance activities, defects and recommendations within the CAFM System Support minor works, project activities and management of change processes Maintain excellent working relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation Adhere to permit-to-work systems and safe systems of work Report all hazards, near misses and incidents promptly

Skills And Experience
Essential Criteria:
Recognised apprenticeship in Plumbing, Heating Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Current Commercial Gas Safe Registration Minimum three years' experience maintaining commercial gas systems Experience of working within a facilities management environment Experience delivering SFG20 planned maintenance activities Full UK driving licence Competent IT skills, including CAFM and mobile applications
