Gas Repair Engineer – Huddersfield
Location: Huddersfield

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Gas Repair Engineer, you’ll work in customers’ homes diagnosing and repairing gas appliances and heating systems. On a daily basis, you’ll handle:

- Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems
- Repairing systems to restore heating and hot water
- Conducting boiler services
- Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance
- Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
- Representing HomeServe with professionalism and care
This is a field-based, varied role—no two days are alike.
What We’re Looking For
To be eligible, you’ll need:
- Valid gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1
- Experience repairing gas appliances and central heating
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
- Strong customer service skills
- Independent problem-solving ability on site
- A proactive, positive approach

Training & Support
We’ll equip you for success:
- Week 1: Classroom induction (Monday–Friday) at our Walsall Head Office
- Week 2: On-the-job training with an experienced Gas Repair Engineer (Accommodation & meal allowance covered if needed)
