Job Description

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Administrator to join our friendly team at our Harworth site on a full time permanent basis.

Salary: £25,347 per annum.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating.

The Gatehouse Administrator is responsible for accurately processing the movement of all of our customer products within the warehouse and around the wider network. As a Gatehouse Administrator you are pivotal in order to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction with a high level of attention to detail.

Key Duties of a Gatehouse Administrator

  • To assist and support the warehouse operatives when required.
  • Maintain good communication with the Shift Manager and confident to escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Pre-allocate loads and input pre-advises for customer inbounds.
  • Compile and send reports as required.
  • Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
  • Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
  • Selecting Loading / Un-loading Bay based on current operational requirements.
  • Updating the Electronic Schedule and Auto-store to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
  • Carryout stock shortage investigations on picks and monitor replenishments.
  • Control equipment allocation.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in the use of WMS and Microsoft Excel.
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to work within a warehouse environment dealing with products in and out bound and returns when required.
  • Ideally you will have experience within a Warehousing/Transport/Logistics/3PL background.
  • Previous Goods In/Out, Stock Control or Inventory experience.
  • Have a strong Customer Service background.
