CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.
Position Summary
Great Bay Community College seeks a qualified instructor to provide instruction to both technical and non-technical audiences in Artificial Intelligence. Topics covered range from AI fundamentals and generative AI to applied use cases and more advanced concepts.
Scope of Work
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to prepare students to apply AI in real-world applications, including basic concepts of AI enabled workflows, automation and agent-based tools
- Incorporate practical considerations such as reliability, limitations and responsible use of AI systems
- Create hands-on learning experiences that reflect real-world applications
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work
- Evaluate student progress against the stated course objectives
- Maintain course records, grades, and attendance in accordance with college policy

Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with AI technologies (e.g. machine learning, generative AI, or applied AI tools)
- Proven ability to develop curriculum for both:
- Technical learners (e.g. data/AI professionals)
- Non-technical users (e.g. business, administrative, or general workforce audiences)
- Working knowledge of how AI systems are applied in organizational settings, including basic concepts such as automation workflows, tool integrations, or AI-assisted decision making
- Knowledge of Python, machine learning frameworks, and/or AI productivity tools (e.g. ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude)
- Experience with core ideas in responsible AI use, such as data privacy, bias, and appropriate human oversight
- Strong ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way
- Industry certification or advanced degree in a related field
- Prior teaching, training or facilitation experience preferred
