Our Core Value

Our core value is building strong relationships with our institutional clients, which include corporations, financial service providers, and fund managers. We help them buy and sell financial products on exchanges around the world, raise funding, and manage risk. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team that includes individuals who have a passion for the markets and who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and are energized by a bustling trading floor.

At Goldman Sachs, our culture is one of teamwork, innovation, and meritocracy. We often say our people are our greatest asset and we take pride in supporting each colleague both professionally and personally.

Business Segment and Role Overview

Futures Sales Trading team is responsible for acquiring, covering, and managing relationships with clients who trade listed derivatives with our desk. We make markets in, and clear client transactions on, major futures and options exchanges globally. Through our global sales force, we maintain close client relationships by receiving orders, distributing investment research, sharing trading ideas, and providing market information and analysis.

The Futures Sales Trading team trades and provides liquidity in listed derivatives for a broad range of clients, working closely with sales and trading teams across Global Banking & Markets. The role requires strong trading experience, a commercial mindset, and, ideally, a solid understanding of commodities markets and listed derivatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
