We are recruiting for a Senior Associate focused on GBS – supporting the delivery of GBS Transformation programmes, development of our GBS Agentic capabilities and pursuit of GBS business development opportunities.
You will have experience in a number of the following areas: GBS Strategy, GBS Operating Model, GBS Service Delivery Model, Shared Services, Outsourcing, GBS Processes and Policies, GBS Technology, as well as experience of working with a wide range of people in a commercial environment and an understanding of a wide range of GBS issues and trends.
What your days will look like:
- Work on Global Business Services (GBS) and Shared Service Centre (SSC) client engagements, supporting senior team members and engaging with client stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design, assessment, and optimisation of GBS operating models across corporate and public sector clients, and functions such as HR, Finance, Procurement, IT and beyond, focusing on service delivery models and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to workstream and team activities on end-to-end GBS transformation projects, including process analysis and mapping, organisational design support, technology assessment, implementation, transition, and outsourcing.
- Support the financial management of GBS client programmes and inputting into cost modelling, programme margin optimisation, and value realisation.
- Support the development of solutions to address complex operational and technical challenges in GBS environments, working collaboratively with client teams, including project stakeholders, to articulate the GBS value proposition.
- Support junior, peer and senior stakeholders to develop business cases, conduct assessments, perform option modelling, and prepare materials to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with agentic partners, ecosystems and internal teams to support with the design, build, and implementation of Agentic solutions that enhance GBS service delivery and client value.
- Support internal risk and legal teams to ensure compliance in the contracting and delivery of GBS programmes, mitigating risks and safeguarding governance standards.
- Work collaborative with multidisciplinary project teams with expertise in GBS functional areas, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes, risk management, and alignment with PwC’s methodologies and standards.

This role is for you if:
- A GBS professional or consultant with hands-on experience supporting GBS and Shared Services transformations across corporate and public sectors, and a strong desire to further develop expertise in this area.
- Skilled in supporting complex multinational engagements, being part of diverse teams, and supporting operational, technology-enabled GBS solutions including process redesign, implementation, and transition and optimisation.
- Experienced in supporting client request of GBS strategy, operating model design, outsourcing, business case development, option modelling, and deployment of Agentic and automation technologies.
- Able to work with junior and peer resources, programme directors, GBS client teams, and other senior stakeholders to articulate value, manage budgets, mitigate risk, and navigate complex organisational environments.
- Passionate about leveraging digital, AI, and automation to transform GBS capabilities and deliver client value.
- Aware of the how financial, risk, compliance, and contract management activities come together for GBS programmes.
- A collaborative team member and effective communicator, able to influence and build relationships across internal and external teams.
