About the role
The GBS Supply Role Mapping Analyst is part of the GBS Supply Organisational Change Management Team who are responsible for coaching the deployment sites through their change journey to maximise system adoption and achieve stabilization of new processes and ways of working. The Role Mapping Analyst will support the GBS Supply Training Lead with all aspects of access administration and analysis. They are responsible for assisting the market OCM team and Super Users in maintaining the Role Mapping documentation.
The role is responsible for coordinating and driving end-to-end role mapping activities across GBS Supply deployments, ensuring alignment between business processes, SAP security roles, training needs, and user access requirements. The role partners closely with Security, OCM, Training, GPOs, deployment teams, and local business stakeholders to support role mapping governance, data quality, reporting, and deployment readiness.

Your responsibilities
- Manage role mapping templates, standards, and deployment data quality
- Facilitate and drive role mapping workshops and stakeholder decision-making
- Ensure alignment between SAP security design, business roles, and training audiences
- Coordinate and oversee role provisioning activities required for deployment testing and training readiness
- Own production, analysis, and interpretation of SoD and TNA reporting
- Perform quality control on role mapping data - checking & cleansing (Role Maps, TNAs, User Data)
- Act as the SME for role mapping, SAP access, and role-related deployment queries
- Provide deployment readiness assessments for role mapping activities
- Drive enhancement of role mapping processes, reporting, tooling, and documentation
- Provide support during UAT, in assessing and advising on role-mapping related “defects” and issues
- Support cutover and hypercare activities related to access and role mapping
- Produce high quality deployment documentation, for example, programme deliverables, detailed access reports, site specific support materials for reference post go-live
- Support training scheduling activities
The experience we're looking for
- Experience supporting SAP deployment or access management activities
- Experience of working in a dynamic, time-pressured environment
- Experience in using ticket management systems would be an advantage
- Knowledge / experience of IT Service Management an advantage
- Experience of working on IT Projects an advantage

The skills for success
- Knowledge of SAP systems (ECC) and SAP deployments, in particular SAP Security & Authorisations background
- Highly skilled in Excel – Power Query and MS Access would be advantageous
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload to given deadlines
- Excellent English language skills both verbal and written
