GCP + DBT Senior Data Engineer – West London (2–3 Days WFO)
Location: West London (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week in office)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and distributed ETL pipelines.
- Develop high-performance data pipelines using SQL, Python, DBT, and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Implement DataOps best practices, including data quality, governance, and CI/CD.
- Optimize data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, and analytical data models.
- Support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform reliability.
- Mentor team members and contribute within Agile delivery teams.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, and dimensional data modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with GCP and DBT (AWS/Azure experience also considered).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and modern cloud data platforms.
- Good understanding of Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, and Lakehouse Architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and software engineering best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have
- Experience working with customer, retail, or commerce data.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or AI-driven data engineering solutions.
- Knowledge of BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development).
- Experience integrating third-party data sources and APIs.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Willingness to work from the West London office 2–3 days per week.
