Exam Preparation Tutor – Flexible Opportunities

FindTutors is looking for motivated and knowledgeable Exam Preparation Tutors to support students preparing for important academic assessments, including GCSEs, A-Levels, IELTS, and other exams.

This is a flexible opportunity to help learners of all ages improve their understanding, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals through personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions.


About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality 1:1 online tutoring in your chosen subject(s)
  • Guide students through exam preparation, including revision support, mock exams, and study strategies
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating learning environment tailored to individual needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured and engaging tutoring sessions, ensuring clear student understanding
  • Assess student strengths and weaknesses, adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Mentor students through exam challenges, building confidence and reducing anxiety
  • Track and provide constructive feedback on student progress

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in one or more academic subjects, including:
    • Maths, English, Science, Languages, Music, or comparable fields
  • (Preferred but not essential) Experience with GCSE, A-Level, or IELTS exam structures
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to pitch explanations clearly
  • Comfortable with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) or willing to teach in-person
  • (Not required but valuable) Any prior tutoring, teaching, or coaching experience
