Exam Preparation Tutor – Flexible Opportunities
FindTutors is looking for motivated and knowledgeable Exam Preparation Tutors to support students preparing for important academic assessments, including GCSEs, A-Levels, IELTS, and other exams.
This is a flexible opportunity to help learners of all ages improve their understanding, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals through personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions.
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 online tutoring in your chosen subject(s)
- Guide students through exam preparation, including revision support, mock exams, and study strategies
- Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating learning environment tailored to individual needs

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured and engaging tutoring sessions, ensuring clear student understanding
- Assess student strengths and weaknesses, adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Mentor students through exam challenges, building confidence and reducing anxiety
- Track and provide constructive feedback on student progress
Requirements
- Strong expertise in one or more academic subjects, including:
- Maths, English, Science, Languages, Music, or comparable fields
- (Preferred but not essential) Experience with GCSE, A-Level, or IELTS exam structures
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to pitch explanations clearly
- Comfortable with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) or willing to teach in-person
- (Not required but valuable) Any prior tutoring, teaching, or coaching experience
